This course is intended for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in First Aid and CPR AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements, or it can also be taken by those who simply want to be prepared for an emergency in any type of setting.
The Heartsaver® CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The AHA Heartsaver CPR AED Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
The Heartsaver® First Aid course trains participants first aid basics for the most common first aid emergencies, including how to recognize them, how to call for help, and how to perform lifesaving skills. The AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements.
The Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED course trains participants how to respond to and manage illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Blended Learning Course and is designed to teach students information needed for first aid, CPR, and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor. This course is skills portion for those who have completed the online portion.
Heartsaver® Pediatric First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone involved in childcare who have a duty to respond to illnesses and injuries in a child or infant in the first few minutes until professional help arrives. Including: childcare workers, teachers, camp counselors, etc. This online portion of the course can be completed in approximately 2 to 3 hours. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver® Instructor.
Heartsaver® First Aid Total with CPR AED teaches students critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency until emergency medical services arrive. Skills covered in this course include first aid; choking relief in adults, children, and infants; and what to do for sudden cardiac arrest in adults, children, and infants. The CPR AED component of this training will teach students to provide high quality CPR and teaches students how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely, and effective manner. The First Aid component will teach students the duties and responsibilities of first aid rescuers; first aid actions for medical emergencies, including severe choking, heart attack, and stroke; and skills for handling injury and environmental emergencies, including external bleeding, broken bones and sprains, and bites and stings.
Heartsaver® First Aid Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid blended learning course, designed to teach students the cognitive information needed for first aid training. The AHA Heartsaver First Aid Course is designed for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in first aid to meet job, regulatory, or other requirements. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete a hands-on session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor.

American Heart Association Heartsaver® Instructor Course. This course prepares an individual to teach American Heart Association First Aid and CPR courses. Upon registering for this instructor course, participants will be contacted to determine eligibility and prerequisites have been met.
American Heart Association Heartsaver® and Heartsaver Pediatric Instructor Course. This course prepares an individual to teach American Heart Association First Aid and CPR courses. Upon registering for this instructor course, participants will be contacted to determine that prerequisites have been met prior to class.
American Heart Association BLS and/or Heartsaver® Instructor Course. This course prepares an individual to teach American Heart Association First Aid and CPR courses. Upon registering for this instructor course, participants will be contacted to determine prerequisites have been met prior to class.
This Heartsaver® Bloodborne Pathogens course teaches students how to protect themselves and others from being exposed to blood or blood-containing materials. This course is designed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training when paired with site-specific instruction. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) .
ACLS is for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response. Additional cost of $46.49 is added for current textbook if student does not possess the current edition (in person class only)
This is an in-person training session for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for renewal. Student must show proof of current certification. Student must complete online precourse work prior to class day. Additional cost of $46.49 is added for current textbook if student does not possess the current edition
HeartCode® ACLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s ACLS Course. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session. HeartCode® ACLS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. To enter the course, students must complete a precourse self-assessment. Students will then be presented with a team dynamic lesson and 10 In-hospital patient cases, including a BLS case and 2 megacode cases.
Before attendance of a ACLS Instructor-led hands-on skills session, students must successfully complete the online portion, including the course exam. Students must present their current completion certificate before entry into an Instructor-led hands-on session.
PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course. Additional cost of $55.12 is added for current textbook if student does not possess the current edition(for in person class only)
