This 5-day 40 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER (Classroom Version) conformance training session meets the initial training requirements for the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER Standard.
This course has been approved for 40 Contact Hours (4 CEUs) of REHS Continuing Education Credits (Public Health Accreditation #044).
The objectives of this course are to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i) for general industry, and 29 CFR 1926.65(e)(3)(i) for construction.
This training will take a minimum of 40 hours to complete. Our standard 5-day delivery format is five consecutive 8-hour days. Other options are available for client-hosted classes.
This course is for general site workers (such as equipment operators, general laborers, and supervisory personnel) engaged in hazardous substance removal or other activities that expose or potentially expose workers to hazardous substances and health hazards.
This classroom training is offered as open enrollment at our training facility or as on-site training hosted by the employer. You can request a quote to have on-site training conducted at your location.
Safety Unlimited, Inc. also offers a 40-hour OSHA conformed online version of this course as well as a 32-hour online, 8 hour classroom version.
Upon successful completion of this course, each student will receive a Fed-OSHA Certificate of Completion from Safety Unlimited, Inc., in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120.
This course also fulfills HAZWOPER training requirements for the EPA and State OSHA regulations. Additionally, students will be mailed a PVC Wallet ID Card with an optional photo.
Per the California Department of Public Health, Safety Unlimited, Inc. is authorized to offer 40 Contact Hours (4 CEUs) of Continuing Education (CE) for this program.
While these CE units are intended for Registered Environmental Health Specialists (REHS) in California, they are often transferred to other accrediting bodies. Please check with your specific agency for more details and to learn if your agency accepts this course for CE credit (Public Health Accreditation #044).

Day 3
