This 8 Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Hands-on Training (Classroom Training for Equipment Familiarization) course is a 1-day, 8-hour, OSHA conformant HAZWOPER hands on classroom training session; it is combined with the 32 hour online portion to be the last 8 hours of the OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER - Blended training.
We also offer a complete OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER - Online, and a full OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER - Classroom version in California, Arizona and North Carolina.
The objectives of this course are to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e), for general industry, and 29 CFR 1926.65(e)(8) for construction.
This training will take a minimum of 8 hours to complete. Our standard 1-day delivery format is one 8-hour day. Other options are available for client-hosted classes.
This course should be taken by anyone requiring the OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification who requires hands-on training and cannot complete their training entirely online.
This classroom training is offered as open enrollment at our training facility or as on-site training hosted by the employer. You can request a quote to have on-site training conducted at your location.Safety Unlimited, Inc. also offers a 40-hour OSHA conformant online version of this course as well as a 32-hour online, 8 hour classroom version.
Each student who successfully completes this course will be issued a Fed-OSHA Sample Certificate from Safety Unlimited, Inc. in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120.
This course is also intended to meet any HAZWOPER training requirements for the EPA and State OSHA regulations.
Per the California Department of Public Health, Safety Unlimited, Inc. is authorized to offer 8 Contact Hours (0.8 CEUs) of Continuing Education (CE) for this program.
While these CE units are intended for Registered Environmental Health Specialists (REHS) in California, they are often transferred to other accrediting bodies. Please check with your specific agency for more details and to learn if your agency accepts this course for CE credit (Public Health Accreditation #044).
