HeartCode® ACLS is the AHA’s blended learning delivery method for the AHA’s ACLS Course. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on session. HeartCode® ACLS is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings. To enter the course, students must complete a precourse self-assessment. Students will then be presented with a team dynamic lesson and 10 In-hospital patient cases, including a BLS case and 2 megacode cases.
Before attendance of a ACLS Instructor-led hands-on skills session, students must successfully complete the online portion, including the course exam. Students must present their current completion certificate before entry into an Instructor-led hands-on session.
PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.

This 21 Hour California Public Safety First Aid (PSFA) course is intended for public safety personnel, including firefighters, lifeguards, peace officers, as well as students/trainees in these fields. PSFA is a demanding course requiring nightly homework in preparation for the final written and skills-based exams. We recommend staying in a local hotel if you are travelling more than 30 miles. We also recommend taking off work on the evenings after class so you have time to prepare. Please contact us in advance for area hotel recommendations.

This course is for those seeking training for Child Care Providers in the State of California. This course meets the California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 9, Chapter 1.1 and is approved by the California Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Authority. Training must include 4 hours of Pediatric First Aid, 4 hours of CPR/AED, 8 hours of Preventative Health and Safety Training (including nutrition).
