Our HAZWOPER training meets the training requirements for workers in the state of Alaska, though additional training may be warranted to meet the requirements of state-specific regulations.
This includes but is not limited to the OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER, 24 Hour HAZWOPER, 8 Hour HAZWOPER Refresher, and the 8 Hour HAZWOPER Supervisor Training.
Alaska has a Federally approved occupational safety and health plan. All state programs must, at the least, meet the baseline requirements for safety and health provided by Federal OSHA safety regulations.
The Alaska Occupational Safety and Health (AKOSH) HAZWOPER regulations mirror Federal regulations in most respects, though Alaska retains some state-specific standards for Petroleum Refining, Petroleum Drilling and Production, and a logging code that differs significantly from Federal OSHA's logging standard.
Those employers not covered by AKOSH regulations are overseen by Federal agencies.
