The AHA’s BLS Renewal course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. The AHA’s BLS Course is designed for healthcare professionals and other personnel who need to know how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills in a wide variety of in-facility and prehospital settings.
Before attendance of a BLS Instructor-led hands-on skills session, students must successfully complete the online portion, including the course exam. Heartsaver® First Aid CPR AED Online is the eLearning portion of the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Blended Learning Course and is designed to teach students information needed for first aid, CPR, and AED training. Upon completion of the online portion, students must complete hands-on skills session with an AHA BLS or Heartsaver Instructor. This course is skills portion for those who have completed the online portion.
American Heart Association BLS and/or Heartsaver® Instructor Course. This course prepares an individual to teach American Heart Association First Aid and CPR courses. Upon registering for this instructor course, participants will be contacted to determine materials needed prior to class.
This 40 Hour HAZWOPER is taken entirely online.
This course has 32 hours online and needs 8 hours of classroom training. Students can arrange to get the 8-hour hands-on training locally through another training provider, or even through their employer.The objectives of this course are to meet the first 32 hours of the required 40 hour level for the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(i) for general industry and 29 CFR 1926.65(e)(3)(i) for construction. This course is also intended to meet any HAZWOPER training requirements for the EPA and State OSHA regulations.
This course is taken entirely online and is designed for those students who are not required to take the full OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER course.
This 16 Hour HAZWOPER Upgrade course is for those workers who have the 24 Hour HAZWOPER training and wish to upgrade to the 40 Hour HAZWOPER level. This course is done completely online.29 CFR 1910.120(e)(3)(iv) and 29 CFR 2910.65(e)(iv) Workers with 24 hours of training who are covered by paragraphs (e)(3)(ii) and (e)(3)(iii) of this section, and who become general site workers or who are required to wear respirators, shall have the additional 16 hours and two days of training necessary to total the training specified in paragraph (e)(3)(i) of the HAZWOPER Regulation. If students have taken the 24 Hour HAZWOPER with another training provider, appropriate documentation will need to be provided.
This training provides student with training on the 1994 Hazard Communication Standard as well as introduces students to the changes implemented to the HAZCOM Standard brought about by the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS), in accordance with OSHA's 2012 HAZCOM Standard.
