Overview

360 Training

This training provides in-depth coverage of a broad range of workplace safety and health topics relevant to general industry environments. It is designed for supervisors, safety managers, and team leaders who are responsible for maintaining a safe and compliant workplace, offering more comprehensive instruction than the 10-Hour General Industry course intended for entry-level workers.

The course emphasizes hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention, rather than focusing solely on OSHA standards. Participants will gain practical knowledge on such topics as machine guarding, electrical safety, and exposure to harmful substances, and learn how to implement effective safety measures.

Organizations that invest in OSHA Outreach Training for General Industry often experience improved safety performance, fewer workplace incidents, and increased employee awareness of jobsite risks.

Through this training, OSHA aims to equip workers and supervisors with the knowledge needed to reduce hazards and contribute to a safer, more productive work environment.

OSHA recommends Outreach Training Program courses as an introduction to occupational safety and health. Additional, job-specific training may be required depending on the hazards present in the workplace.

Course Format

The format of this course is quite different from other Safety Unlimited courses and can be learned by viewing the Quick Start Tutorial on the first page of each content lesson. The tutorial is not required, but highly recommended.

Updated OSHA Policies

OSHA has issued a new policy that limits all OSHA Outreach Training (classroom and online) to a maximum of 7.5 hours of training per day in all OSHA 30 Hour courses. As a result, all 30-h Hour courses must be delivered over a minimum of four days.

OSHA has also issued a new policy of Program Jurisdiction Restrictions. Outreach Training Programs are now limited to OSHA jurisdiction only. Student course completion cards can only be issued to students within U.S. jurisdiction (the 50 States and certain U.S. Territories).

180 Days To Complete

Students have 180 days to complete the training from the time they launch their course. When a course EXPIRES, the student will no longer have access to the course, and any course progress will be lost. There can be no extensions for the OSHA Outreach titles.

Quiz & Final Exam Policy

Students may retake module quizzes as many times as needed in order to achieve a passing score.

The final exam, however, is limited to three (3) attempts. If a student fails the final exam three times, they will be locked out of the course and will not be able to continue.

In order to complete the training after being locked out, the student must repurchase the course and restart from the beginning. Previous progress cannot be transferred, and students are not permitted to retake only the final exam under a new enrollment.
