Overview

UL Solutions

While the program covers many essential safety topics, it is essential to supplement this knowledge with site-specific information and hands-on skill demonstrations to ensure your safety and meet the training requirements established by OSHA standards.

This course is highly regarded, with numerous jurisdictions, employers, and unions making it a mandatory requirement. However, it remains voluntary at the U.S. federal level. Upon successful completion of the program, each student will be awarded a completion card by the U.S. Department of Labor, a recognition of your dedication to workplace safety.

Please note that OSHA Outreach Training is exclusively available to trainees within the geographic jurisdiction governed by the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Act, ensuring the content's relevance and applicability to your specific location and industry. We are proud to offer this industry-specific training and look forward to empowering you with the knowledge and skills to thrive in the High-tech/Semiconductor sector.

Trainees outside this jurisdiction will not receive cards for course completion. This 10-Hour program is primarily intended for entry-level workers. The program will take longer than 10 hours.

Benefits

Upon successful completion of the UL Solutions OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Training (High-Tech/Semiconductor), students will achieve the following benefits:

  • Develop a safety mindset and learn valuable skills for their future

Department of Labor (DOL) Cards

We advise trainees to expect to receive their OSHA card in the mail in 6-8 weeks after course completion. If we are notified within 90 days of course completion that a card wasn't received, a replacement card can be requested (at no additional charge). Any card that is requested 90 days or more after course completion becomes a replacement card request, and there is a $50 fee associated. Support will verify we have a completion record for the trainee and confirm they are eligible to receive the replacement. If so, they must complete a replacement card form. All reissued and replacement cards are shipped vs. mailed, and a (Fedex) tracking link will be provided.
