About this training

This course is required each year for anyone who has already taken the initial 24- or 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification and has kept current with their annual refresher training.

This OSHA compliant 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher classroom training session meets the annual refresher requirements for the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER Standard.

The objectives of this course are to meet the Federal OSHA HAZWOPER training requirements of 29 CFR 1910.120(e)(8), 29 CFR 1910.120(p)(7)(i) or 29 CFR 1910.120(q)(8) for general industry, and 29 CFR 1926.65(e)(8), 29 CFR 1926.65(p)(7)(i) or 29 CFR 1926.65(q)(8) for construction.

How long is this training?

This training will take a minimum of 8 hours to complete. Our standard 1-day delivery format is one 8-hour day. Other options are available for client-hosted classes.

How else can I take this training?

This classroom training is offered as open enrollment at our training facility or as on-site training hosted by the employer.

You can request a quote to have on-site training conducted at your location.

Is this course certified?

Each participant who successfully completes this course is issued a Fed-OSHA certificate from Safety Unlimited, Inc. in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.120. This course is also intended to meet any HAZWOPER training requirements for the EPA and State OSHA regulations as well.

After finishing this course, students will be given online access to a completion certificate in Adobe™ pdf format that can be downloaded, saved, or printed as many times as needed. Students will also receive a mailed PVC wallet ID card with an optional photo.
