About this training

This course is intended for anyone who makes entry into Permit-required Confined Spaces, including maintenance personnel and/or safety professionals.

This 2-day Confined Space Entry Class is designed to train workers on the proper procedures for making entry into Permit-required Confined Spaces per 29 CFR 1910.146.

This program will allow the participant to operate in the capacity of Entrant, Attendant, or Entry Supervisor during confined space operations. Participants will be familiarized with OSHA requirements and how to properly employ the permit program.

This course is a combination of classroom instruction and practical application in actual permit spaces, utilizing the appropriate Site-specific Personal Protective Equipment used for confined spaces.

How long is this training?

This training will take a minimum of 16 hours to complete. Our standard 2-day delivery format is two consecutive 8-hour days.  Other options are available for client-hosted classes.

How else can I take this training?

This classroom training is offered as open enrollment at our training facility or as on-site training hosted by the employer.

You can request a quote to have on-site training conducted at your location.

Because this training requires hands-on experience, it cannot be conducted online.

Is this course certified?

Each participant who successfully completes this course is issued a Fed-OSHA certificate from Safety Unlimited, Inc. in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.146(q). This course also complies with the training requirements for Confined Space Entry under State OSHA as well. A downloadable certificate will be available within 24 hours of completion.
