Announcement Regarding Safety Unlimited Classroom Training (REVISED 06-15-21)
As of June 15, 2021, California has removed the Blueprint and has mostly reopened the State. To this end, all of our classrooms will resume normal operations and student enrollment. We will continue to frequently wipe down our facilities to maintain cleanliness. The wearing of masks is optional for students. We are available for onsite as well as traveling course training. Any student showing signs of illness should NOT attend our training.

Our customers are very satisfied after completing their safety training with us, whether they take their initial HAZWOPER Training, HAZWOPER Refresher, or any other online course we offer. Online Training Comments

Thank you and Safety Unlimited for providing an excellent interactive on-line experience in helping me complete the HAZWOPER Refresher course. The course was highly focused and provided me challenging quizzes and an excellent final exam. I have made several notes during the on-line instruction and will use these for follow up study. Additionally, this medium is an excellent time-saver in that I can complete the instruction at my own pace.

Michael Bloxom - Lead Planner, Emergency Preparedness Specialist, Domestic Preparedness Equipment Technical Assistance Program (DPETAP), White Hall, Arizona

I have been Hazwoper Certified for seven years. Previously I had taken the 8 hour refresher at the local college. When I saw the on-line version at substantial savings, not to mention being more convenient, I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how thorough the course was. This is not a rubber stamp certificate program. The course was detailed and the final exam tough, as it should be. You have to earn this certificate by paying close attention and learning the material. That is what I was looking for. The staff was responsive and helpful with any questions or problems. I'll be back next year for sure.

Classroom Training Comments

Timmons Construction Company, Inc. wishes to thank you and your staff for the expert training and guidance you provided us with last week. Our HAZWOPER, OSHA, and DOT "Safety and Health Compliance" training has traditionally been done in house, and we expect most of that training to continue as such. However, we are exceptionally impressed with your knowledge and experience as a HAZWOPER Incident Responder and as a professional trainer who is able to "connect" with our employees' specific needs. The additional time and effort you extended to our questions of and need for understanding of 29 CFR 1910.146 "Confined Space" is especially appreciated.

Koleen Quattlebaum, Timmons Construction Company, Inc., El Paso, Texas

The training was excellent. The material covered was very understandable, practical and interesting. The instructor is very knowledgeable and experienced on the subject. He presented the material in a fun and interesting fashion. All the class participants, including operations personnel and maintenance technicians were very impressed with the training. I highly recommend this training to managers that have responsibilities for hazardous materials. The education is essential to understand their responsibility and how to properly handle emergencies involving hazardous substances.

EMT Refresher Comments

Thank you for the course. This is my second cycle of recertifying as an EMT. I have found the training to be well organized and structured. The online program easy to use. I was able to complete the program at my own pace during my spare time. As a police EMT I was really pleased that the course focused on the actual tasks and information that I really need to know. Thanks again and I wholeheartedly recommend the program.
