When I saw the on-line version at substantial savings, not to mention being more convenient, I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at how thorough the course was. This is not a rubber stamp certificate program. The course was detailed and the final exam tough, as it should be. You have to earn this certificate by paying close attention and learning the material. That is what I was looking for. The staff was responsive and helpful with any questions or problems. I'll be back next year for sure.

I do documentation at spills for the CA Dept of Fish and Game, Oil Spill Response Field Team. I have had the 24-hour training, and several refreshers (in class) through work. This refresher was so in depth that a lot of it was very new to me. I have to admit, I spent quite a bit of time and took a lot of notes (at my desk). I was very relieved when I passed the final test! As for the course - I think it is great. I think it was very well done, and obviously done by experts who care about what is being taught. I came away with a lot of information about many things I had little if any information about before. As I said earlier, it was out of my realm, but that definitely does not mean it wasn't excellent information. I think it would benefit most people to take this course, as it truly makes you pay attention and take notice. You cannot "slide" through if you don't already know the information. Thank you for the opportunity. I hope many others in my department will take the course.
